With my lack of posts, I have a lot to catch up on, so here is what Trippy has been up to the last few months!
He went back to school! He is in the Owl class with Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Shannon. He seems to love school and but does not always like the drop off! He recovers quickly if he is upset...if Ms. Shannon mentioned play-doh, he usually perks up right away! Almost every morning when he wakes up, the first thing he asks if if he has school today. As much as he loves being a "big boy" and getting to go to school, he knows the days he doesn't he gets to hang out with me or Blaine.
After the first day, we celebrated with donuts!
He started wee-ball! He was on the Mighty Muscles. Our weekends are packed pretty tight, and unfortunately his "games" are at the bottom of the totem pole so we only made it to 3 this season. Thankfully, Cash was there each time and went on the field with him, ran the bases, taught him now to hit the ball (although, he already really knew from all the practice he sets up for himself in the front yard!)...and of course, Cash is who he wanted out there! Speaking of, I have never met a more tolerant, patient 9 year old big brother. He is just so, so kind and loving with Tripp. He is always looking out for him, helping him, loving him, it is truly a blessing to watch.

Things do not always go as planned with he is "helping" me.
Ok, lets talk about what a trooper this kid is. He is woken up at ungodly hours to be at the field before the sun comes up. He stays up hours past his bedtime to get through all the games. He spends upwards of 13 hours a day at the field sometimes, doesnt eat a proper meal the whole time, and he rarely complains. He loves being out there, finds friends wherever he goes and just is along for the ride! It is not just games either, he is carted along to practices multiple times a week!
He thinks Maggie is the bees knees.
