I could not wait for the Polar Bear Plunge this year! I had been asking the boys for weeks who was going to jump in with me this year. Honestly, thinking that everyone would back out....*maybe* Owen would do it again this year. But they all assured me that they all wanted to jump this year and that they were all excited to do it!
It certainly was unseasonably warm on New Years Day! I packed a bag with a change of clothes for me and and all three boys, but only threw in a couple of towels, because I was certain that one or two of them would certainly back out once we got there.
After walking in and running into a couple of friends, we were ready to take the plunge!
First, I jumped in....
Then went Eli.....(shocking!?!?!?!?)
And THEN, Cash jumped in!!!!! It took his breath away!!!
Owen made a slower jump this year, but he got in too. He was not as enthusiastic as he was last year. Eli on the other hand, loved it and was ready to go for a swim. He got in, got out, got back in and had a great time. Since I was certain everyone would back out, I did not have enough towels for each of us, but we made it work and Blaine helped the boys change in a little towel-made changing room.
