Random Summer Sum-Up
This summer was a blast!!! I was really kinda dreading the summer this year, just thinking the days would be long and the weeks even longer. But to my surprise, it flew by and I had so much fun. I am pretty sure the boys did too!
Here are some random pictures and random little blurbs from our summer, aside from our trips!
Lots and lots of swimming! We really loved having our neighborhood pools so close to us. We went often and also met up with a bunch of friends at the pool. Eli and Owen LOVE to swim and the difference from their abilities last year to this year are unbelievable! We took a few private lessons at the beginning of the summer and somewhere in there, it just clicked for both of them. We thew our puddle jumpers aside all together, put on some goggles and they were off swimming on their own, jumping in and swimming across the pool, playing games in the water and diving down. It made swimming so much more fun for them but a little mores stressful for me trying to keep up with all three boys. Cash REFUSED to put on a puddle jumper, and would rip it off as soon as it was on. But if he had a ball in the pool he was pretty content.
We checked out wiggly teeth...
Had our very own slumber parties, and a few with friends!

| Its not a slumber party unless you all share the same toilet! |
Hung out with friends and cousins.... (sorry, not a lot of friend pictures to share)
I got to take care or Lola for a whole weekend while Rachel and Hobo went to Marfa for a wedding...these two have something pretty special. Cash just loves her and is so sweet and gentle!
And I got to witness Lola rolling over for the very first time while they were away! She was very pleased with herself!
Eli went to Lego camp for a week this summer with his bud Ty a few weeks after his Nature and Science Center Camp. It was in the afternoons at the Circle C Community Center, so it was extremely convenient and easy. He had a great time and built some pretty cool stuff!
A few water balloon fights here and there....
And playing in the backyard. We got this little "clubhouse" built in our backyard so they could have a little secret place just for them.
A trip to this really cool duck pond just down the road from us that I never knew was there! Cash fell in about 10 minutes after we got there, this is why he is shirtless.
This happened...
We went out on a lot of family outings here and there...
Enjoyed nature....
Eli got retested for just a couple of nuts at the allergist and we were cleared to eat almonds-yay!!!! We brought our own magnifying glass to check out his welps. He convinced the nurse to do the test on his arm and he helped her make all the pricks which really helped with his anxiety about it.
We were totally into Shark Week this year! I was on constant patrol for the "shark attack" shows and we occasionally had to chance the channel, quickly!
Cash turned 2 and Owen turned 4! No big parties this year for these guys, but we found ways to celebrate and have fun! More on Owen turning 4 later!
