Covid cancelled our Port A trip last year, so everyone was gung-ho when Covid numbers were declining and we decided the trip was a-go for this year. That decline did not last, and numbers were going back up with the new Delta variant but we were too far in and had the house booked. So the consensus was that who ever could go and was comfortable going would go. But we would all have to test negative first.
There was a few of us who were planning to go. The older generation had all already decided they were out. But most of us cousins were going...and then....Lola and Hobo got Covid, then Ethan....Rachel and Camille were next. A few others backed out because they did not want to chance it, so in the end, it was just me and the boys, Kim, Jared and their boys and Noah and Danielle and their boys. In this giant 10 bedroom house. It was different, and much quieter to say the least. But it was a lot of fun!
It was low key and easy, and we just winged it as we went. Fun was had by all!
