Back to 3's
Blaine moved back to Station 3 a few weeks back. He spent about the first 8 years of our relationship at 3's, so it holds a special place in my heart! It is also just a really great station. He had a great run at Station 1, and I have a feeling he will end up back there at some point, but for now, I am happy he is at 3's.
We decided to go up there and see him last weekend for the first time since he has been back. I know Cash has no memory of this station but Eli and Owen certainly did! They felt right at home!
The guys were are so nice and welcoming, and the station just has a really good energy about it...not to mention a super cool truck room perfect for the boys to run around and play in. The workout equipment usually gets more air time from these boys than the trucks do.
But for whatever reason, they were really into playing in the engine this day. When it came time to get in and go for a little ride, Cash got scared and said he didnt want to go, so next time for sure.
And yes, Cash is wearing a bathing suit shirt....it was a battle I was not willing to fight this day.
Before we left, we headed into the kitchen and the boys raided his food locker for some snacks.
Blaine had worked a double this weekend so it was great to catch up for a little visit, see him looking super cute in his uniform, and to meet all the new guys he is now working with over at 3's.

40 Weeks of Picture
I have mentioned before that Lauren, Brooke and I make it a point to have lunch together as often as our scheduled permit. But this post is long over-due with all of our "Lauren is pregnant lunch pictures."
So here goes....I was better some weeks than others about labeling them....
And finally.....one day before her due date....... here we are plus Baby Judson! He was finally here.
So here goes....I was better some weeks than others about labeling them....
Brooke and I were lucky enough to be welcomed (and wanted) by Lauren and her whole family on the day Judson arrived. Brooke and I had been talking for weeks about what this day would look like for us, how we would make sure to keep each other posted about every detail if Lauren went into labor, and how we would each find a way to make it work to make sure we were there. Thankfully, Blaine knows how important Lauren is to me, like a sister, and he was willing and happy to do whatever he could to also make this happen.
Thankfully, Judson listened to all our requests about the day of his arrival and we were both able to be there for the big day. It is not my birth story to tell, but I will tell you that it took allllllll day and Lauren was a rockstar! Brooke and I started off so strong, and awake and bushy-tailed.
But as the hours ticked by, we lost some of that energy.....
But we were able to go in and see Lauren in between naps and labor pains!
It was such a fun and amazing day to be a part of! I am beyond blessed to have these girls as friends. But the best part of the day was getting to meet Mr. Judson Bonner Greenwood! Yall, he is seriously perfect!

Sweet Berry
Last Saturday morning, Blaine was at work, and the whole house was up by 6:15. I remembered the weatherman saying it was going to be a beautiful weekend, so I hopped out of bed and asked the boys if they wanted to go to the pumpkin patch that morning.
We have never been to Sweet Berry Farms in the fall, but had heard great things. They were all up for it, so we got dressed, I threw a bunch of food for lunch and snacks in a bag and we headed out there.
The weatherman was right. It was an amazing day!
We spent the first few minutes just walking around, checking out all the activities and just enjoying the weather and each other. It was one of those days that everything just came together--in particular, we were all in a great mood! Our first stop was checking out some pumpkins before heading over to pretend to be candy corn and then to the goats to feed them.
Then we checked out some more pumpkins....
And then headed to the other side of the property through the tunnel. We got there shortly after they opened, so there were not a crazy amount of people yet, and we enjoyed having the space to ourselves!
After checking out the tractors we went on the hayride. It was so much fun, aside from the massive rash the hay left on my legs.
We stopped and went through the flower field.
Owen really wanted to be a goat.....
And then we went to make some sand art. They each picked a different shape and went at it. It was a lot of fun to watch each of them meticulously fill their little containers.
We eventually made it back to the main side, ran into some old neighbors and just ran around a bit. Cash kept trying to climb up a mountain of pumpkins. I was waiting for all the pumpkins to tumble down, but we made it out safe.
Sometimes it is those last minute, unplanned outings that are the most fun (of course sometimes they are a disaster). This morning with my boys was pure perfection.
