These Days Are Fleeting

I cherish my Tuesdays and Thursdays with Cash.  These last few months have been tough to make myself get up and do, well, anything really. Which, thankfully for me, Cash is also OK just staying home, having a lazy day. So we have had a lot of those lazy days where I try and lay in bed as much as possible--that's just the kind of pregnancy this has been!
But last week, we had such a fun, impromptu Thursday morning together. We had plans to meet my old friends Traci and Salma and we chose a new coffee shop called Cosmic Coffee.  A guy I went to high school with is the owner and he had put out a request for dead leaves over a year ago to help make a compost garden for his new project. I had not seen him in years, but he came over with a truck and loaded up on our dead leaves that had been sitting in our backyard waiting to be picked up. I wanted to see where our leaves had gone:) but also obviously wanting to support local and people we know.  It was an awesome little spot--cant wait to go back! We got there before Traci and Salma so I got a coffee, and Cash got a cinnamon roll and an amazing hot chocolate! He was so excited about it! Thankfully for me, he only drank about 1/4 of it!

The coffee shop shares a parking lot with Crux, a climbing gym. It peaked our attention and we decided that before we headed home, we would go in and check it out. Well, we checked it out and ended up staying to play.
We had the kids climbing area to ourselves and we just had the absolute best time! Cash caught on right away and made it to the top on this 3rd try. We just have such a good time together, and that morning was no different! I sure am sad kindergarten is starting next year. I honestly can not even let myself think about it or I get so sad.
