Welcome Home Sweet Owen!

Owen Grant Kruger finally arrived on August 23, 2010 at 2:01pm.
We are so happy to have this sweet boy home with us!

Where Oh Where Are You?

Ginger cookies to kick-start labor-Check!
Spicy Chinese Food- Check!
Ate Pineaple and Curry- Check!
Walking (alot and fast)- Check!
Begging this baby to please come out-Check!
Finally got out the car seat-Check!
Bags packed- Check!
Drinking Raspberry Leaf Tea everyday- Check!

Come on Baby!!!!

My official due date is in three days, on Sunday.  And I think I can say with confidence that we are ready!!!  I mean, not ready to take on two children under two, in diapers, and one who will need constant care and sleepless nights, but ready for this little baby to come and meet us and join our family. 
At my last appointment I was 4 centimeters.  FOUR!  Who is 4 cm and not in labor?!?!?!
So we are taking it day by day and waiting....and waiting.  He is still a very busy baby, moving around all the time.

Will keep you posted on the arrival of this little dude, who by the way, still doesn't have a name.  My Dad has been calling him Numero Dos, Numo for short....who knows, maybe that will stick:)

This picture was taken back in May of 2009.  So much has changed since! Not only has another member joined our group, Henry's little brother Gage, but look how big these little people are now!!!

Eli is so lucky to have these sweet friends, they will be friends for life! Not to mention how wonderful it has been to have thier Moms become good friends of mine.  Just to know that we are in the same boat and can vent and bounce ideas and thoughts off of eachother without judgement. 

Looking back it is crazy to think that I have been friends with Henry's and Sophia's dads since elementary school!!!

In a few days (hopefully) another little man is joining the group!  I'm hoping sooner than later, but only time will tell. 

She is the Best!

The reason I am so excited for Eli to have a brother so close to his age is that I was blessed with a sister so close in age to me (15 months!)....and she is the BEST!

 I cant say that we always liked each other.  And I definitely cant deny all the yelling, hair pulling, stealing of each others clothes, drawing lines across our room declaring our own space that the other cant touch, the fight in which I broke Rachel's thumb, oh, I could go on forever!
But in the end, she is my very best friend.  I honestly could not ask for a better sister and a better friend in the entire world.  She is there for me ALWAYS.  Even if I'm calling to complain about something silly, or if I need to vent, or ask her opinion on something (because she was waaay better taste in fashion!!!!), or whatever the case may be, she is there.  Having a sister is one of the very best things in my life.
I cant wait for Rachel to have her own children, because I know that she will be the absolute best mother! I know that because sometimes I honestly think that she believes that Eli and his brother are hers!  And she is so wonderful with Eli and he just loves her so much.
So, Rachel, today, I want to wish you the happiest birthday and remind you just how much I love you and how much I cherish you as my sister and my friend and one of Eli's most favorite people.  I hope today is a wonderful day.

And here is to take you back during a little bit with your Yum Yum!
