You turned the BIG THREE! This year when I asked you what you wanted for your birthday all you said was a BIG cake! Vanilla. With lots of sprinkles. Boy, you got your wish!
When we were ordering it, I asked you if you wanted it to say "Happy Birthday Trippy" and you said no, "Happy Birthday Clydie." It is funny because everyone calls you Tripp/Trippy, except at home Dad and I call you Clydie and that is how you refer to yourself if anyone asks your name. You say "Im Clyde." I am so curious what you will want to be called when you get older. We kept the day very low-key with just cake for breakfast and a pinata with you brothers in the afternoon when they got home from school. We also went to Target and you picked out a pretty cool Blippi garbage truck.
You are an outgoing, super social, easy going, hilarious, sweet, cuddly, crazy and very smart little three year old. You bring so much joy and laughter to this house....and I think your brothers would agree 99% of the time:) You are tough as nails....you get right back up after you fall, ask for us to "rub it" where it hurts and then go on playing. You are not shy. Everyone is your friend. You love Maggie, or Baggie as you pronounce her name. You like to smell things right now, have become more picky with food, love going to baseball games/practices and all the older boys love you. You talk all the time. You have ZERO interest in potty training and still love your crib...I can not even imagine the mess it would be if we put you in a big boy bed right now. You are pretty crazy, and have no fear, you run everywhere (never walk), try and jump over everything and can hold your own in this house!
You have your Dad wrapped around your little finger...he would do anything for you, anytime. I have never seen him have so much patience with another human. His face lights up anytime he sees you. And you love him...obviously, you love him, but out of all 4 of you, you have liked him the most as a little babe!
You are a TALKER! You talk all the time and your speech is so amazing. You love your tye die and blue blankets, your papi and allllll the trucks!
I took you to Shepherd of the Hills for a little walk through of the school for next Fall. I don't think you remember ever going to school there before Covid but you loved it. You packed yourself a backpack and a snack and walked in like you owned the place. I am so excited to see you thrive there in the Fall.
You always ask Dad and me "are you happy?" and I will say "I am always happy when I am with you" and you will tell me that you are happy too. It is so sweet.
