Rainy Rain Out Day

A few weeks ago, we had a really rainy weekend where all our games were cancelled on Saturday. It was such a welcome surprise and a much needed low-key day at home.
It was not glamorous in the least! In fact, we barely got out of pajamas and left the house. But we all just hung out together with no distractions. We decided we would do some cleaning in the garage, and we sat in there for hours going through old stuff, laughing, cleaning out, with the garage door open so we could listen and watch the rain.
Blaine had been collecting old toys, and hot wheels for yeeeeears, and he let the boys go through and open some of them and they thought they hit the jackpot!

It was just one of those very ordinary days that was extraordinary. I loved every minute of it.
