The Cast Came Off!

Cash was soooo ready for his cast to come off.  He was such a trooper those 4 weeks and adapted beautifully to having his arm in a cast.  He found a way to do everything he wanted to with it on. He even realized he could use it as a weapon--a very hard one. We spent the last few days trying to get everyone's signature's on it that he wanted and he would say "ready to come off" at least 5 times a day.

The day finally arrived.....we dropped everyone off at school and headed to Dell.

We were both really excited, and had a hefty wait in the waiting room.  Since only a little bit of time was taken by him comparing his cast to the cute little girls' sitting next to us, we decided to take some selfies.

They took some more x-rays, saw that it was healing nicely and then fitted him with a sling that we were instructed should stay on for 3 more weeks.  We were to follow the same guidelines--no running, jumping, anything with wheels, and feet should stay on the ground--for THREE more weeks. M'kay.

We got our slip to check out and we were outta there!

We made it a day and a half with the sling. I call that a success!
